Oregon health officials are reporting 876 new COVID-19 cases. The latest report from the Oregon Health Authority shows the state has averaged more than eight-hundred new infections a day over the past week. OHA also confirmed five new patient deaths, bringing the state’s death toll up to 742.

The Portland Trail Blazers will be back in action in late December, but they won’t have fans to see them play on their home court. The Blazers announced that after talking with public health officials and state leaders, fans will not be allowed for the beginning of the season. The team does anticipate the situation will improve as the season goes on.

A tornado that hit St. Helens Tuesday afternoon was an EF-Zero. The National Weather Service says the tornado had wind speeds no higher than 60 miles per hour when it touched down. A homeowner reported damage to their roof and at least two other buildings were damaged by tree limbs. No one was injured.
