Two suspects are being sought in connection with an assault in La Grande in which shots were fired at an apartment complex. It happened at the Thunderbird Apartments, where La Grande Police say the initial report indicated that one person was shot in the face, but it turns out the 17 year old victim was injured by blunt force. A second victim who is 18, also suffered facial injuries, although witnesses say multiple gunshots were fired. Police now are looking for 29 year old Leonel Orlando Martinez and 18 year old Eric Hans-Austin Walling Jr. Martinez is 5′ 5″ tall and 145 pounds. Walling is 5′ 10″ and 185 pounds.The two were last seen in a black or blue 2014 Hyundai with Oregon license plate 422KMH. Anyone with information is asked to contact the LGPD.
