More wolf attacks…. In Baker County, another rancher says he has had cattle attacked by wolves near Halfway… the third Baker County rancher to report such attacks recently. Biologists from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife have confirmed that a 150 pound, six week old calf belonging to Barry and Shella DelCurto of Halfway, was attacked by wolves. Veterinarians say the calf is expected to survive, with the greatest threat now, being infection.
